Yeah. Had inoperable esophageal cancer for years. He was arguably the best boxing writer in Boston for the last 30 years

Good point. I should have said national boxing writer. When he wrote for the Herald back when newspapers were still read on paper, he was a top read. He didn't have agendas like Borges. He had his opinions but wasn't moolighting for a boxer on the side by writing for one of his websites and not disclosing it.

But you had to track Kimball down once he left the Herald so I didn't read him much in last few years.

That heavyweight fight was a joke last week.
