Awwwwww who cares about whats going on between the lines, we got parties this week, don't forget your wallet.
Thursday, April 19th - Fenway Park Open House
From 9 am - 7 pm fans will have the opportunity to explore 100 year-old Fenway Park at their own pace. Attendees will have a chance to discover behind-the scenes locations and learn more about the ballpark by following the "Fenway Park: A Living Museum" plaques, displays and historical markers. The Open House will feature a unique presentation of artifacts, "touching the game" exhibits, and other special presentations.
Autograph signings will take place throughout the day. Dozens of alumni will be on hand throughout the day including Red Sox legends Mike Timlin, Dave Henderson, Luis Tiant and Bernie Carbo. Fans will have an opportunity to walk the warning track, peek inside the Green Monster scoreboard and visit other spaces within the ballpark not normally accessible to fans. Ballpark concession stands will be open. The event will take place rain or shine.
I can see Bernie Carbo, Looie and Dave Henderson but Mike Fucking Timlin = Red Sox legend? Please.... Oh, and concesssion stands are open. You think that with the 100th anniversary and all and the Sox and Yankees wearing old school uni's that maybe they could roll back concession prices to 1912 as well? $.05 beer? They did it in Cleveland and they can do it here. Shitfaced for under $2.00, it would help dull the pain of watching them slaughtered seemingly nightly.
