Had to be one of the last big championship fights not on PPV. At least back then you could listen to a fight on HBO if you didn't subscribe, you can't even do that now.

I have a handful of those saved to my DVR. That's not one of them.

I have the Reggie Miller episode saved and I'd like to watch it as I was still watching the NBA back during that period.

One I don't have and haven't seen was the Gretzky episode.

I saw most of the Tim Richmond one yesterday afternoon

had never heard of him before. It was pretty good. I like how he denied having AIDS till the bitter end. We've come a long way in 20 yrs.

With NASCAR's popularity today Tim Richmond would be huge if he came around now.

Not a 30 for 30, but tonight is the first installment of the Year of the Quarterback. This one is on Condredge Holloway. Usual ESPN documentary greatness. Kenny Chesney is involved in the making of this one and he did a good job with the Boys of Fall a few months back.

Tonight I learned Condredge went to the same church I went to when I was very little, and one of his old high school coaches was one of my teachers when I was in high school. Also, I had forgotten the Patriots drafted him as a DB.

Condredge was a college football star who was the 4th overall pick in the MLB draft as a high school senior and was also recruited by John Wooden. What an amazing athlete he was and an even better person.

Simmons last 2 podcasts have been really good, Michael Smith and Jalen Rose were really good basketball interviews. C Webb is either still really spooked by the timeout incident or he didnt like the money ESPN was offering.
