Don't need much. Won't use it a ton. Just need something for errands and an occasional trip home. I am leaning toward a used/low end 4WD but open beyond that

No reason at all to wait for WBD if your going used. Waiting for the aftermath might make since since there will be trades everywhere. Its a new car holiday almost exclusively. My used guys are typically slow up at the other building.

Don't do it. I have an 08 escape and it's an unreal POS. I can't wait until uncle sam sends my tax check and I unload this thing. Back to the japanese for me.

Owned three cars in the last 10 years. Toyota, Nissan, and Ford. Didn't spend a dime in repairs on the Toyota/Nissan and put about 150k on the Nissan. Escape is 2.5 years old and I've had 1 warranty covered repair and another for about $400. Battery died a few weeks ago. Never changed a battery in the Nissan or Toyota. Sick company that installs seat covers which get stained from rain. 13 pages of complaints on edmunds.com is more than 1 car.
