i still have a blackberry, and for my needs it works great. all i do is text, call, and email really..

but in the interests of modernizing, and the approaching demise of my 3 year old laptop, i will eventually upgrade to one of the two.

That's all I did as well, ed. I carried Blackberry's for years, and had the Pearl for the last few. It was perfect for texting and small so easy to carry in the pocket, but finally went to shit. That's when I discovered the awesomeness of the smart phone, that I knew was out there but refused to allow myself get hooked to. Until now.

Finally caved and upgraded to a smartphone and bought a samsung focus today it has the windows operating system. Anybody familiar with it? Do i have to use zune to play music because it fucking blows.

BTW, AT&T is giving out free new blackberry's for people w/ older bb devices. Just ordered 7 for my firm.
