Boston Bargains is casting a host for an infomercial talk show that will air on ABC.

This is a Non-Union, weekly position.
Details Below

Show Host: Male or Female (non-union), ages 25-35, fit and modern looking. Must be extremely energetic and charismatic. The host will introduce various guests, bits, video clips, etc. There will be both a primary host as well as a secondary host.

Bit/Segment Hosts: Bit hosts will be in charge of their own special part of the show. This includes everything from a comedy minute to on the street interviews. Again, male or female ages 25-35, fit and modern.

When: Tuesday Nov. 9th and Wednesday Nov. 10th from 11am-6pm.

Where: 100 Cummings Center, Suit 128A, Beverly, MA 01915. Entrance is on the right side of the 100 building, same side as the train tracks. The outside door will have a big sign that says "Casting Call Here"

Bring: Headshot and resume

Shooting: Begins next Friday

Pay: Minimum $100 for the first 3 hours and $30 per hour thereafter. Keep in mind this is a weekly job.

I went to this today. Audition took place on what will be the actual set. I was asked to read from provided copy, and to ad-lib with the production assistant as well.

We shall see...

Application deadline is Monday. At an informational session held the other night, several people voiced displeasure with the fact that veterans have priority on the list over other applicants.
