A girl my wife went to school with died of cancer and the girl's mother logged on to her FB page after her passing to lurk/post notes and thank you's to people who had written things on her wall ... apparently it was quite helpful during her grieving process to read all the things posted by and to correspond with everyone who was touched by her daughter during her life.
