The Red Sox and embattled reliever Bobby Jenks have been trying to work out a settlement of the righthander's contract, according to a major league source.
Jenks, once considered one of the best closers in baseball, signed a two-year deal worth $12 million before the 2011 season. His time in Boston has been plagued by injury. In 19 games last season, he was 2-2 with a 6.32 ERA, He last pitched for the Red Sox July 7, 2011 in a one-inning outing versus Baltimore at Fenway Park.
A settlement? This fat fuck should be arrested for fraud. He's been doing nothing but eating, drinking and cashing checks for two years and he wants more?
