Well if I pretended to like someone for a long time and then don't go to their going away lunch I like to think that it really hits home with them.

If you don't like the person don't do it, you won't feel bad after about a minute. The only time I felt bad and gave more than usual was when they passed around an envelope asking for a wedding gift because the guy and his wife were looking to get some new furniture. There was literally, $4 in the envelope when it got around to me and half the names had been checked off as received it. That should be a sign to quit.

She's never acknowledged very emotional family moments, not even once and treats your work friend like he/she is a thief..... and you were considering giving her $10? Good God Man, take $20 out of the envelope and put in an "IOU nothing" note.

Then again, maybe if you put $10 in the powers that be will replace her with a 21+ (definitely not high school) smokeshow to worship you properly.

I HATE it when people in offices ask for this type of bullshit. I never once have had someone pay for the new tires I needed on my car by passing around an envelope. Fuck her.

Hey, I was bored and perusing the threads I am not sure what to tell ya. I could have started my own thread and clogged up the forums a bit if that'd pleased the masses.
