Parents of the Year

Postby AY » Thu Nov 04, 2010 9:04 pm

So a few weeks before Halloween, Boo decides he wants to be Daphne from Scooby Doo, along with his best friend E. He had dressed as Scooby a couple of years ago. I was hesitant to make the purchase, not because it was a cross gendered situation, but because 5 year olds have a tendency to change their minds. After requesting a couple of more times, I said sure and placed the order. He flipped out when it arrived. It was perfect.

"Who makes fun of little kids?!?!?"

Um, every other little kid that's not playing 'Tootsie'.

Hey Ma, great to let your kid do his own thing. But he's gonna get shit at some point. The world is a cold, cruel place. The sooner he finds that out, the better off he'll be.

And if he's not gay, he's gonna be the kid whose mother immortalized his poorly-thought out costume as a 3-year-old. Nice

Where's dad in this equation?

Any dad that'd let his kid dress up as a dame for Halloween should get six months in the hoosegow.

Did Lugnutz write the last paragraph?

A Florida grandmother tried to sell her baby grandson for $75,000 - but agreed to take less than half that after some haggling, officials said.

Patty Bigbee, 45, was hauled off to jail Friday after handing the 9-week-old infant to a stranger for cash in a parking lot in Daytona Beach.

Bigbee's partner in the cruel game of let's make a deal was her boyfriend, Lawrence Works, 42, cops said. Both were charged with illegal sale or surrender of a child.

Police were tipped off by the prospective buyer, who said the grandmother approached and offered to sell the infant.

Authorities staged a sting operation and arrested the pair once the child was in the back of the buyer's car.

"This transaction was absolutely 'take this baby, give us our money and go,' said Florida law enforcement agent Wayne Ivey.

"Not only were they attempting to go this route with the transaction, but who else would've been willing to buy that child?

"So, we're just really fortunate that the confidential source in this matter came to law enforcement and said, 'We need to take action on this,'".

Bigbee had custody of the child because the baby's mother is in jail on another charge. She and work had bought a need Chevy Malibu and needed money, cops said.
