I just think you need for more accountability VTEX.
2 people showed up. Even if there was a dual responsibility for promotion, you should have double checked with the bar to ensure they had it on their chalkboard. Make flyers. Do something to get people into the bar. Cross-promote at your other events, if they are non-competing. Posting shit on FB isn't adequate.
He wouldn't have called off the next event and ripped you a new one if he didn't care. Stop being so defensive and take the constructive criticism. Prove him wrong.
Blow the fucking doors off that spelling bee when shit comes back. You wanted a new challenge, well, now you have it. You can either point fingers and cry about the injustices heaped upon you or you can do something about it. I'd suggest the latter.
RonnieB has promised to show up next time the event kicks off...

Sim, as my teacher once told me, "to assume makes an ass of u and me." This is akin to Bart losing class president...I thought the bar was infallible and that these basic things would have been taken care of.
I'm embarrassed that I did such a mediocre job. There's better ways to manifest that. Just gotta regroup and do better.
