back in october my subscription was up, I told them I wanted to cancel and they offered me 5 months for $29. Now I have a decision to make in February. Should have just done the $500 lifetime subscription back in Oct '05.

I paid the nickel for the lifetime 'script a year before Howard started.

After all is said and done, Stern will cost me less than a buck a week (not including every other channel). Pretty good deal, even if quality has gone down.

I've listened at home using their boombox since I signed up in December 2005. I bought a car back in August and now I'll install it in the car.

That's what I've been doing from the get-go. First box, the Orbiter, was shit and didn't last long. Had to buy #2 (Sportster) but it came with the car set-up. #2 wasn't working so had to bring it back for #3 (didn't have to pay), which I've had for a few years now. But they do charge a transfer fee when going from one piece of equipment to another (after it shits the bed).

As for the car thing, I could never get the suction thing to work so I just keep the car input/antenna in a little compartment under the radio.

Definitely one of the best X-mas presents I got.
