2012 – The Year Of The Lane Violation

I understand its technically the correct call. And I understand one day after UNC Ashville committed the same violation all these players should be aware of the rule. But seriously, fuck this lane violation shit. At the very least, like Charles Barkley said, the refs should give these kids a warning. And more realistically they should just put their fucking whistle in their pocket. The Syracuse game was bad enough, but lets be honest – that didnt decide the true outcome of that game. But Notre Dame/Xavier tonite pretty much was decided by that whistle. That was as pivotal as a call as I’ve ever seen.
Brutal. Just brutal. After a wild evening of two 15 seeds pulling off miracles to make true March Madness happen, we finish off the night with another zebra deciding the outcome. No luck of the Irish for this 7/10 matchup.

Doug Gottlieb is going to go to the grave defending this thing on twitter. Keeps claiming it was the “right call” and that every player should know the rule. People are calling him out asking why it isn’t called every time a coach steps on the court or a jersey comes untucked. he says those are “judgement calls.”
KFC, remember way back when Kmarko ran BSNY? Yeah, that was the last time I read something funny on this site.
No surprise someone named Gottlieb would be out to get the Irish on St. Patty’s Day
Lane violation wasn’t even on him – it was on the guard coming in too soon outside the 3 point line. Get with it.
