NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) — A New York city councilman is encouraging women to snap cellphone pictures of subway gropers.  Councilman Peter Vallone said women have been helping police by snapping pictures of subway gropers and he encouraged school-aged girls to carry cellphones with built-in cameras on the subway, the New York Post reported Thursday.  New York Police Department Transit Chief James Hall told a council panel complaints of sexual abuse in subway cars increased 4 percent from 2008 to 2009. However, he said arrests of accused subway gropers decreased by 6 percent during that time.  “This should not be a part of commuting in New York,” Hall said. “It’s an underreported crime.” gropers.

Great thinking Councilmen Vallone!  Lets have a bunch of creeps snapping cell phone shots of school girls on the subway. “Oh no, sweetheart, don’t worry – Councilman Vallone told me to do this. Now just bend over so I can get some more evidence here.”  No need to get out of your seat or anything to stop the sexual assault, the Polaroids are just as good.  And I don’t know what the hell he’s talkin about with this whole “This should not be a part of commuting in New York,” notion.  It absolutely, 200%, is part of commuting in New York.  You pay TWO goddamn dollars to go wherever you want in the city.  Gotta pay the price somewhere along the line, and that payment comes in the form of a quick ass grab or a boob brush. Deal with it.
