NFL – As New York Jets players walked off at halftime on Thanksgiving after getting the stuffing knocked out of them on Thanksgiving night by the New England Patriots, fans in the expensive club seatsvoiced their frustration in a not-so-friendly fashion. Bart Scott, who said he didn’t hear the taunts, wanted those fans to know he doesn’t care what they think or what they scream. ”At the end of the day, if you made it to be able to put an NFL uniform on, then you are one of the best athletes in the world,” Scott told the New York Daily News. “The person yelling at you probably was picked last in dodgeball all through high school. So do you care about the opinion of them? No.”

First thing’s first – you cannot take on the fans in New York City and win. There are 2 groups that will never lose – the media and the fans – and Bart Scott insists on feuding with both of them. The fans will love you when you win, bash you when you lose and thats just the way it is. It ain’t fair. Outsiders will call it “fairweather” or “bandwagon” or whatever they want. Bottom line is thats the way every fan base works and everything in New York is just magnified. Pick a fight with them and you will lose. They will do nothing but make your life that much more miserable. The heckling gets worse, the media questions about your fan feud get more annoying. You’ll be back page story for all the wrong reasons, and its no sweat off he fans’ backs. You can’t wait.

Second thing’s second – the notion that you can’t criticize a professional athlete because you never played in the league is so fucking stupid. The vast majority of NFL coaches never played in the NFL. Just because you didn’t play professional football doesn’t mean you don’t know the game. It ain’t like Jerry Thornton was out there participating in the Combine last year and got drafted and thats why he knows football inside and out. I realize the assholes yelling in that video were just drunk idiots and not football gurus but the argument about who got picked last at dodgeball just sounds so stupid.

And third thing’s third – you fucking suck Bart Scott. You wanna talk about being able to put an NFL uniform on? Bro I deserve to be on the field as much as you do. You’re garbage. And not only are you garbage, you basically made a career out of running your mouth and talking shit when you shouldn’t, so how are you different from the idiots on Thanksgiving night? So now you’ve stirred up media controversy and a feud with the fans all while contributing nothing on the field. I’m sure your teammates love that.
