Billy Beane Just Busted a Nut 11 Years in the Making
Well it isn’t quite the same thing as advancing in the ALDS, but you know a little piece of Billy Beane sees this as revenge for that ousting from the playoffs 11 years ago. Moneybag Yankees roll into town and get swept in a 4 game series (by 4 runs total). Good for the A’s though. That’s all you can say. Anybody who thinks this weekend was a complete fluke and that the A’s “got lucky” is an idiot. The A’s are an above average team that’s been playing lights-out baseball. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the mix for the second wild card spot come September.
P.S.- If for no other reason, I need to quit delivering pizza solely because of the fact that I can’t listen to one more fucking Sterling botch job. Guy made the game-tying home run sound a lazy fly to center.

A’s have some solid young talent. Keep an eye on Doolittle. Although the kid should have been a starting pitcher to begin with. A’s kinda fucked him up on that and now he will have to be a closer.

In what way did the A’s fuck up on Doolittle being a reliever? Oh by drafting him as a 1B and then converting him into a promising relief arm? Or the fact that he has only pitched 44 and a third innings in his entire and so far brief career? You don’t just take a 1B and make them a starting pitcher in a year. Strasser’s blogs are bad but the comment section is even worse.

You know how you know your team has a commanding division lead? You get swept in a 4 game series and you aren’t even a little bit worried…good for the A’s…btw when is the last time a team lost all 4 games by a total of 4 runs? Gotta be rare
