    @ spinna, I’m with you too (that’s what I meant with my comment to Clancy). Is it sad? Yes. Are there dozens of equally sad stories in the paper every single day? Also yes. I guess most of us are a little numb to stories like this by now. I’m sure I will feel a little worse in the days/weeks to come when photos of the victims are released, but unless you know someone that was killed (or one of their family members), to say you are suffering “full blown depression” from this is absurd.

    I think a big reason people are upset about the shooting is A) an infant was involved and B) It is a movie a lot of us want to see and I know that I read it thinking that shit could have been me. It’s not like a plane crash or a shooting in the middle of a bad neighborhood… it is in a safe environment that literally millions of people will be doing this weekend. Thats what got me fucked up.  Knowing I could get shot going to see a movie because of internet trollers taking shit too serious.
