Canadian Hockey Broadcaster Compares The Rangers And Capitals To The Policemen And Firemen From 9/11
You fucking hockey nerds. Always talking about how NHL players are tougher than any other professional athletes and more athletic than anyone on the planet and how they’re just like the first responders who died in our country’s most devastating terrorist attacks. You’re all such drama queens. I bet hockey fans complained about the second wave of firemen and policemen showing up to help at the Twin Towers were just posers hopping on the first responders bandwagon. “You don’t know anything about being a first responder so just stop pretending you know what you’re doing, bro!”
Look don’t get me wrong, this guy’s opening completely sucked. I’m not even saying that because it was insensitive or something like that. It was just overly dramatic and he was just kinda babbling about hockey and heroes and fire and shit. But at the same time he’s just trying to set the scene and build some drama and tension. So lets not all get on our high horses and play the New Yorker 9/11 card and say he’s an asshole. That being said, a real solid rule of thumb if you’re in the media is just avoid unnecessary 9/11 talk. Just ain’t worth it.

This is a disgrace. Fuck Canada. No one would every waste man power or time to terrorist attack that bastard nation of socialist, alcoholic, pussies. America:1776 / Canada:0
Hey Mason, Canada doesn’t walk into other countries, steal their shit and kill their people.
everyone knows that Ron didn’t have bad intentions…may have come out a little wrong but leave it at that he meant it as tribute. other than that, funny blog kfc, even as a hockey fan.
So the Rangers are the firemen? Or is it the other way around? Let’s just all agree that Ron’s ten cents short of a dime.
9/11, rape and kiddie porn….you just don’t go there.
Grapes should have done the opening
if you dont know who ron maclean is then youre proving your lack of hockey intelligence.
thi was not his best move. with this bitching can we now end all sports to war comparisons. including football players calling themselves soldiers
