And the fall from grace continues. I think ironically El Pres summed it up the best earlier this morning. Its like all the sudden Brady is the laughing stock of the league. Overnight he became a punchline. Songs and pictures and players and everyone everywhere mocking him.
He’s basically become an A Rod type of player at this point. There’s no denying he’s tremendously talented. Been a Pats fans for over 25 years and I can’t disagree with this blog. Of course he’s still great, I’m glad we have him and this blog only exists because everyone simply expects the best from him because of his history, but he’s certainly not that blue-collar overachiever he once was. You know - the nobody underdog that we tend to love. He’s got a supermodel wife and a giant mansion in Cali now. If he wasn’t my QB, I’d hate him too.
here we go again. the fact is the pats have played in 22 playoff games since 2001. 6 conference championships, 5 super bowls. who cares if they last the last two? I’m still taking Brady over any other QB in the AFC. Unfortunately, age is catching up with Brady and Peyton. If you really look at Brady’s numbers this year, most of his yards came after the catch. Welker, Gronk & Hernandez really made him look good this year. Tom will go down as one of the greats, but he’s got a 2-3 year window to make it work with these guys.

Within the game: he converted a huge third down to keep the 90+yard drive alive at the end of the half, and a big forth down at the end to keep us alive. The int was a throw-up btwn gronk and a lb, doing what we did all year to get us there and a fair decision in my mind. Part of me cant wait till 12 isnt under center, were .500 with 20,000 at gillette, just to shut these homos up. This was a team loss (coaching, offense, defense, special teams) in every sense of the word. Giants were the better team this yr. Maybe why it doesnt sting as much as 07 (for me at least)

If you can honestly say that he looks like he doesn’t want to be out there then you don’t watch football on the weekends. Was it the 50 TD 18-1 season that didn’t impress you? The unanimous MVP season? This past seasons 5k passing yards and Superbowl run with a D- defense? The guy plays with a chip on his shoulder every week. If he hasn’t played perfectly in the playoffs over the past 4 years then you can attribute that to pressure. But for you to say that it’s because he doesn’t care is 100% asinine. The Giants had a better team, and if the Pats had won this past weekend guys like you would be devoting your energy towards finding something else to complain about.
