I Found El Duque!
Did you guys know El Duque I mean El Duke is still a free agent? Like he’s not retired even though he’s about 55 and people don’t even bother to spell his name correctly anymore? I smell a Mets comeback!
Got to love the Wikipedia: His greatest success came as a New York Yankees starter during that team’s run of World Series championships in 1998, 1999, and 2000. He also won a championship in 2005 with the Chicago White Sox. His last appearance in a Major League game was in 2007 with the New York Mets.
So basically the guy won championships up the asshole then came to the Mets and became a spokesman for the Airless Water Valve. Yup sounds about right!
