Bloguin – Vilma has fought the suspension hard since the beginning trying to clear his name and hasn’t been afraid to go where no professional athlete has gone before in speaking out against his comissioner.  The latest step in Vilma’s quest is to give Roger Goodell a taste of his own medicine.  Vilma has banned Roger Goodell from his Miami restaurant, Brother Jimmy’s BBQ.  Vindictive?  Maybe.  Awesome?  God, yes.

But where is Roger Goddell gonna get his fishbowls now! Where will he get his tall boy Nattys and his plastic alligators! I’d say this officially qualifies as hard ball. I mean, shots fired right?? I mean I wouldn’t be surprised if his suspension gets lowered to 4 games after this move. After all that mac and cheese from Bro J’s is banging.

On a serious note I do kinda like how Vilma is just openly going after Goddell. Calling him out and talking shit and doing ridiculous stuff like this as just a giant “F you” in his face. Sure chances are Vilma will end up serving a huge suspension and the rest of his career he’ll have a bullseye on his back and will probably fade into obscurity but, for the time being, banning the commissioner from your restaurant is a tremendous move.
