Heaven Sports – A student lost £4,400 this week when he decided to lump his entire student loan on Angola beating Mali in the African Cup of Nations.  At the time of the bet Angola were cruising at 4-0 up with just 10 minutes to go, but the unthinkable happened and Mali scored 4 goals at the death to grab a remarkable 4-4 draw.  The odds on offer on Betfair were so ridiculous that the student only stood to make £44 back from the wager.  The student posted details of the bet on FMV is for Victory Forum and received the following sympathetic responses: “Sweet baby jesus you are a fool”  “You slack midget c***”  “HAHAHAHAHA”

Umm I don’t really get the slack midget cunt comment?  I mean that bet is a no brainer.  It’s a sure thing!  All you FMV Is For Victory commenters can stop piling on the shit with that holier-than-thou attitude just because it didn’t play out.  Shit happens.  Sometimes you catch a bad loss.  Sometimes a bad streak.  And sometimes you put up your entire student loan to win $44 bucks and come out on the short end.  That’s what gambling is all about.  I mean when’s the last time you saw 4 goals get scored in 10 minutes?  Like ever in history?  Just plain old bad luck is what it is.  So I’m with you on this one brother.  School is overrated anyway and $44 bucks ain’t nothing to shake a stick at.
