Kyle Okposo Got The Swine Flu
NEW YORK- One of the New York Islanders’ top young stars has been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus, the team has confirmed. Kyle Okposo won’t accompany the team on its upcoming road trip and was expected to miss at least three games, said spokesman Seth Sylvan. Several other NHL players have missed time due to swine flu this season, including Okposo’s teammate Doug Weight, who missed three games
Well, this is no surprise. I mean have you ever been inside Nassau Coliseum? They have a booth for tuberculosis shots at every other gate. I once saw this happen instantaneously to some guy two rows behind me when he slipped, fell and touched the concrete with his bare hands. I schedule a doctor’s appointment the day before I go to a game and wear a hazmat suit with a beekeeper’s mask and these gloves for my own protection. It’s amazing the place hasn’t been condemned or responsible for an epidemic that rivals “Outbreak”.

Not sure what was so awesome about that save. He didn’t even have to move his glove. He just added a little flair after it was already in his glove.
