MyNorthwest (Mariners Blog) -  With the early start time in Toronto you may have missed an incredible moment Sunday. Let me take you back a bit. On the pregame show there is a “Picks to Click” segment where the broadcasters and Mike Blowers pick who they think will be the days player of the game. Sunday things got a little goofy during the segment and Mike made a wild prediction.Tui’s second at bat came in the top of the 5th inning and as you can hear, the Blowers prediction was on the mind of Dave Niehaus. I cannot tell you how many times through the years I have sat next to Blowers during a game and he has told me exactly what was about to happen. This however, was unbelievable. And fun too! Truly two of the best calls of the year.

“Clearly it’s gonna be Tuiasopo today…I expect him to hit his first Big League home run…gonna get a good count today, going to get a fastball and he’s gonna hit it outta left-center field.  Maybe in the second deck…on a 3-1 count.  Second at bat.  Second deck.”

Fake! Come on.  Obviously fake!  I’ve seen enough trick shot and baby-dancing videos to know when I’m getting played.  Show me the timestamp.  Physically take me back into time to hear this broadcast live.  Do SOMETHING to prove to me they didn’t record this after the fact.  Because if this is real it’s creepy as shit.  Just absolutely impossible.  Sure any asshole can guess a guy’s gonna hit a home run.  Even a blind squirrel finds a nut.  But the player, the inning, the count, the pitch?  Where it fucking LANDS? Get the fuck outta here!  Either these Seattle dickheads are pulling a fast one or Mike Blowers just pulled a Biff Tannen and came back from the future with a fucking almanac.
