   Tonight the Knicks legitimately had two NBA squads on the court. This is the team they were talking about when they said they need to practice and mold together. It’s definitely underplayed how much of an impact Tyson Chandler has on this team.  The same guy who just took part in the turnaround by the Mavs and had them playing their best basketball when it counted and took down everyone in their way in the playoffs. Dont be surprised when we see it happen starting the end of April. You heard it here (and from everyone else that has said it to you)

    And the strength of schedule argument is completely legit…having to rally past Cleveland and needing buzzer beaters to beat Toronto aren’t arguments you should use for the Knicks resurgence…they’ve had 1 true test and weren’t even competitive…I know this is a NY team and everything that happens in NY gets blown out of proportion but jesus christ let’s fucking relax…make the playoffs win a series and then we can start declaring them this and that

    ^Dude they may have had to rally vs Cleveland but they ended up destroying them.  And no one cares that your Suns beat LA…the Heat have lost to Mil twice this yr and Golden State – does that mean a win against them is irrelevant?  They way you put it, if you beat a shitty or average team it means nothing bc they’re no good and if you beat a good team it means nothing bc losing teams have beat them.  Solid point. i haven’t been impressed with NY till tn but if you watched the game and didn’t see the potential you aren’t much for sports.

    this team is starting to look a lot like the run and gun dantoni suns of the mid to late 2000′s. that was a damn good team and i would be thrilled to see them compete like that in the playoffs.a

    I agree with your strngth of schedule argument to a degree, but their schedule has been insanely easy. For example, not only did the Knicks play the Cavaliers at home, but it’s the 2nd night of back to back for Cleveland while the Knicks are coming off a long break. It literally doesn’t get any esier.

    The strength of schedule argument makes no sense when the knicks are handling it exactly as they should. They lost 3 games all month after Lin took over. If they win 10 out 13 against easy teams, they are doing everything the need to be doing. Period. End of story. There is no argument.

    Novak love is only ridiculous to those who haven’t seen him play. The dude is instant energy and heart, not to mention he rarely misses (especially big shots in clutch moments, the guy is just lethal)! Being a regular white guy like I am, it’s refreshing to see a player succeed who isn’t just some freak of nature athlete, but a cerebral sharpshooter who plays balls to the wall defense on every play because he isn’t in good enough shape to half ass anything and get away with it.
