WFAN – Apparently Osi Umenyiora isn’t one to forget a sucker punch. The Giants’ outspoken defensive end fired a shot on Twitter at LeSean McCoy, wishing the the Eagles running back some not-so-genuine Mother’s Day wishes. “Happy Mothers Day Lesean Mccoy!” Umenyiora tweeted Sunday. “Enjoy your special day!!” The beef began last June, when an unprovoked McCoy inserted himself into Umenyiora’s contract drama with New York. He tweeted that the Giants star was “overrated,” “soft” and the third-best defensive lineman on his team. Umenyiora responded by referring to McCoy as “Lady Gaga” and “she” to the New York Times. The hits kept coming, as Umenyiora called the running back a “woman” and “a little girl” in an interview with the New York Daily News. “What he did was unforgivable. He ran his mouth,” Umenyiora told the Daily News last year. “He crossed the line that shouldn’t have been crossed.”

There are 2 things that Osi is downright relentless about: 1) Complaining about his contract, and 2) Pretending that Lesean McCoy is a female on the internet. He is downright ferocious when it comes to those 2 things. Hey Osi, what are you up to bro? Oh, nothin, just holding out and tweeting to Lesean McCoy as if he were a chick. Hey at least the dude is consistent, right?

I mean right now the Giants are on top of the world so I guess you can say whatever you want if you’re with Big Blue. But if we’re gonna talk about things on a personal level, because obviously this is personal, Osi should probably just give it a rest. You don’t get to hide behind your team with the “Hey we won a championship!” when someone tries to compare you two as individual players. You can’t make it personal and then cop out.
