NC – A North Carolina woman said 6 minutes of pixilated pornography appeared in a recording of the Disney Channel on her Dish Network-issued DVR. Georgie Brown of Fairview said she recorded “Lilo and Stitch” from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 7 on the Disney Channel and played the recording for her children — ages 5, 3 and nearly 2 — Sept. 10, WHNS-TV, Greenville, S.C., reported Wednesday. Brown said the recording displayed a message at one point saying there had been a signal loss and 6 minutes of pixilated pornography then appeared, followed by another message that accompanied the return of the Disney cartoon.

This lady has absolutely nothing to be upset about. DVR has made parenting at least 3000% times easier. Whereas once a mom would have to take her whiny kids to the movies or purchase the actual VHS or DVD to keep them occupied, now she can just hit record once and have an instant babysitter whenever she wants to cue it up. Go have a glass of wine and read O Magazine or whatever.

So the one time that the DVR decides to spice things up and show a little porn in the middle of Lilo and Stitch this lady makes an international incident out of it. Newsflash lady: Lilo and Stitch isn’t even that good. Yeah I saw it and believe me when I say it doesn’t hold a candle to the classics of my childhood. How about throwing on some Mary Poppins or Rescuers Down Under so your kids can have a normal upbringing.

Here’s the plot to Lilo and Stitch: “A Hawaiian girl adopts an unusual pet who is actually a notorious extra-terrestrial fugitive from the law.” Sounds like real wholesome stuff for your 5, 3, and 2 year olds. Illegal aliens, criminals, adoption. Not sure porn is much worse.
