OddityCentral – American designer Andrew Schneider has used conductive thread to sew photo-voltaic panels together in a Solar Bikini that allows you to charge your favorite gadgets while getting a nice tan. 30-year-old Schneider says ‘I use 40 individual paper-thin flexible, photo-voltaic panels for each bikini. I sew them together over a normal bikini using soft-conductive thread,’ adding that it takes him around 80 hours to painstakingly sew the panels. Every swimsuit is made to measure and costs as much as a conventional designer bikini, $200. The Solar Bikini allows its wearer to connect any modern gadget via the USB ports sewn into the fabric, meaning you’ll never run out of juice at the beach, ever again. This ingenious yet fashionable garment doesn’t take away the pleasure of going into the water, all wearers have to do is unplug their gadgets before going in and making sure the USB ports are dry before reconnecting them.

Well maybe I’m distracted by this chick’s body but why wouldn’t you just put the individual paper-thin flexible photo-voltaic panels on the gadgets themselves?   Like cut out the middle man completely.   Just hook the solar powered shit right up to the cell phones and ipods.   Hey buddy, you want to get rich or just get hot chicks to put solar powered bikinis on for you?   Plus there’s no way this clown has ever been to Europe.   As everybody knows I was in France last month for my honeymoon and let me tell you, the girls there don’t even wear bikini tops.   Not even the fat ones.   I had two 18-year old French smokestacks just plop down 10 feet in front of me and like out of a dream, they just whipped off their tops completely.  I had to ask my wife to pass me my glasses.  Sure it didn’t go over well but like I said to her, “Honey, when’s the next time I’m going to see live 18 year old tits again?  Probably never.  I didn’t even see 18 year old tits when I was 18!”   The point is, the solar powered bikini would be useless in Europe.  This guy’s market share would triple if he just invented the solar powered panels for the gadgets themselves.  Again maybe I’m missing something, I’ve been wrong before.

Let’s just have the chicks vote on this one since dudes would hopefully never wear the solar powered bikini.
