SEATTLE — The New York Jets are finished. They’re so done. Antonio Cromartie‘s playoff guarantee went stale faster than a carton of milk in the desert. They were so bad, so utterly inept on offense Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks that it moved Rex Ryan to tears. In his postgame address to the team, Ryan got so emotional that he actually cried, according to several players. He was everything in the locker room — mad, frustrated, urging. And harsh. According to players, he asked the pointed question, “When are you guys going to believe?” It’s hard to believe in the Jets, 28-7 losers at CenturyLink Field. They’ve dropped three in a row and five of their past six games, sinking to 3-6 — the low-water mark of the Ryan era. And it could get worse before it gets better because you can’t win if you can’t score, and you’ve got problems when your leading scorer is a 300-pound defensive end, Muhammad Wilkerson, who returned a fumble for a touchdown. ”Yeah, I mean I don’t know how many more losses you want to spot somebody before you think you can make the playoffs,” Ryan said. “It’s about a 2 percent chance of making the playoffs with the record we have.”

You gotta be fuckin kidding me. I’m the biggest Rex Ryan supporter and apologist in the world. I give him more slack than just about anybody. But I wouldn’t mind him packing his bags right fucking now. You’ve lost 9 of 12 and you’re fucking crying. Literally. Actually crying like a bitch. There’s a difference between being an emotional leader and seeming like you’re completely overwhelmed. You know maybe after a heartbreaking playoff loss, or something to that affect, you let your emotions get the best of you and it comes across as a sign of how much you care. But as the season and franchise is headed back down the fucking toilet crying like a baby ain’t gonna get shit done. Just makes you look weak and completely out of control. I mean what does “When are you guys gonna believe?” even mean? Believe what? Seriously what the fuck does Rex want this team to believe? There is absolutely nothing to believe.  Nothing to believe in with Mark Sanchez. Nothing to believe in with this team. Only thing I believe is a top 5 pick come April.
