I realize it is thoroughly and utterly pathetic to celebrate winning one playoff game when you’re down 3-0 in the first round, but fuck it. Its been over a decade since it happened. Think about how pumped you get every time you get laid. Every time you bust out of a slump and get your bird wet. And that happens several times a year. This shit hasn’t happened in fucking 11 years. So, yes, its a joke. Yes, its pathetic they lost 12 in a row. But yesterday was a start. Streak over, Garden was rocking, no sweep. Amare and Melo playing well together for the first time ever. Just enjoy it.

The question on everyone’s mind now is will we see Jeremy Lin for Game 5? Baron Davis’ kneecap is basically in the middle of his shin, Mike Bibby looks like a half melted candle/Verne Troyer, and I don’t think Toney Douglass even bothers to put on his uniform anymore he’s seen so little playing time. So is Soy Sauce healthy enough? Even if he is can you just drop him back in the mix? Melo coming off a monster performance, is it even worth it to throw a wrench in his game? Is it even worth risking anything with the series being 3-1 and inevitably over one way or another? A lot of questions, with a bunch of answers that probably don’t matter too much anyway. But who knows, maybe the Knicks sneak another one to force a Game 6 and bring it back to the Garden for another night of playoff basketball in New York.
