   i remember i saw Splash when i was like 6. John Candy’s drop-some-coins-and-look-up-a-chick’s-skirt move absolutely changed the game. and actually, one of my preschool memories is of hiding under a table with a long tablecloth, laying on my back, and sticking my head out to look up the girls’ dresses. as i write that, i’m baffled as to how i was never caught. i don’t think it was anywhere near as covert of an operation as i thought it was…
