Tiger Woods’ Affair Is Almost As Important As 9/11. Wait What?
Tiger has been on the front cover of the New York Post for 18 straight goddam days. An athlete cheating on his wife, an occurrence as common as the sun rising in the morning and setting at night, has grasped front page news in New York for almost three consecutive weeks. In the days following 9/11, the Post had 19 straight days with the front cover referencing the terrorist attacks. That’s the record for most consecutive front pages for one topic.
So it makes perfect sense that Tiger Woods banging some floozies will break that record. For sure not. Ordinarily a new scandal happens a few days afterwards and you get knocked off the cover – but lucky for Tiger the past 3 weeks have been so fucking boring, he gets the honor of being the center of the Post’s attention. Sucks for him Except he’s a billionaire so not really.
