I just stopped back in my apartment for a quick second and I see Scott’s posted some shit talking about article 19 and whether or not Jorge Posada is healthy and all this other shit rather than focusing on this ridiculous move by the Yankees. Is fucking Scott kidding me with that post? The Yankees essentially just acquired Lance Berkman for free. They basically have to pay his salary and gave up nothing in terms of talent. Yes, he hasn’t been the Lance Berkman of the past, but you take him out of Houston and plop him in the middle of a pennant race, in New York, surrounded by that Yankees lineup and I bet you that dude is gonna rake. You know they’re talking about batting him in the 2 hole? Lance fucking Berkman in the two hole? Motherfucker.
And they still have every trading chip at their disposal to acquire relief pitching. Unbelievable. Tremendous work by Brian Cashman.
Its shit like this that makes me hate the Yankees and envy them that much more. Yes, they have the most resources out of any team in baseball but they use those resources better than any team out there. And they are relentless. The fact that the Yankees are out there trying to acquire more offense is obnoxious, mind bottling, and fuckin awesome for Yankees fans all at the same time. It is a constant attack on the rest of the league to put together the best lineup and pitching staff imaginable. I sincerely hope you Yankees fans appreciate the shit out of this move. Because as a Mets fan who would suck a dick for Ted goddam Lilly right now if I hear one more dickhead like Scott talk bad about this trade I will fuckin blow my brains out
