this is good. even if he isnt his prime self, its a major necessity to have someone on this team who hits for contact and singles and runs instead of coming up looking to hit a homerun everytime. thats why we suck with RISP and that long ball or nothing shit wont cut it in the playoffs. with gardner out for the year somehow with a bug bite on his shoulder on something we needed someone like this. plus it adds another good chemistry player to the team which is never a bad thing.
